Visualize, debug, and understand any codebase in 2D and 3D.
CodeWalker is the only professional code mapping tool in existence. It creates real, living 3D and 2D code maps that other tools claim to build, but you only see it in their concept art.
If you're looking for an actual code map, CodeWalker is the industry leader.

In a world where most new code isn't even written by humans, the ability to rapidly understand how it works is a necessity. CodeWalker makes that possible and easy!
With CodeWalker, you just point it at your code, and it does the rest. It walks through all of it, figures out how it works, and shows you an easy to read map in glorious 2D or 3D.
I created CodeWalker in the early 2000s, under the name CodeMapper. Like most of my products, it started as something I'd built just for myself. I had a massive online poker game that could host about 10k simultaneous players.
I'd thrown everything I'd learned in a decade of low level programming, to make the server as efficient as possible.
High school friend and serial entrepreneur Bridget Black watched a video I'd made about the product. She asked me to use it on a few of her friends' businesses' codebases.
And after solving a few "impossible" problems for them, I patented it, and released it
under the name Talon.
A few years down the road, I had a few better ideas about how to do all of it, and CodeWalker was born from that!
Since then, I've been adding new features to it like mad, and today I have this monster of an app that can rip apart any codebase (in the languages it supports) and show you, in near real time, how it all works.
, a groundbreaking tool that transforms how developers visualize and understand code execution. By rendering both 2D and 3D diagrams of code behavior in real-time, CodeWalker provides unprecedented insight into program flow, memory usage, and algorithmic efficiency—making complex code comprehensible at a glance.
Traditional code debuggers show you what's happening line by line, but CodeWalker reveals the bigger picture. Watch as functions unfold, memory allocates, and data transforms through intuitive visual representations. Whether you're a seasoned developer or a coding newcomer, CodeWalker's interactive diagrams bridge the gap between abstract code and concrete understanding.
CodeWalker isn't just another development tool—it's a paradigm shift in how we interact with code. Through months of testing with development teams across industries, we've refined CodeWalker to address the most critical pain points in modern software development.
Our proprietary rendering engine translates code execution into intuitive spatial models that reveal patterns and problems invisible in traditional IDEs. By mapping variables to visual properties like size, color, and position, CodeWalker makes complex relationships immediately apparent.
CodeWalker's real-time visualization capabilities enable developers to spot inefficiencies, memory leaks, and logical errors that might otherwise take hours to identify. The tool's ability to toggle between 2D and 3D representations provides flexibility for different types of analysis—from high-level architecture reviews to detailed optimization work.
Early adopters of CodeWalker span from computer science classrooms to Fortune 500 engineering teams. Educators report that students grasp complex programming concepts up to 40% faster when using CodeWalker's visualizations alongside traditional teaching methods.
At the enterprise level, development teams using CodeWalker during our beta program reported an average 28% reduction in debugging time and a 23% improvement in code quality metrics. The most significant gains came in complex domains like distributed systems and machine learning algorithm development.
The initial release supports Python, JavaScript, Java, and C++, with more languages planned for quarterly updates. CodeWalker integrates seamlessly with popular IDEs including VSCode, IntelliJ, and Eclipse through our plugin architecture, making adoption frictionless for most development workflows.
CodeWalker is available today in three tiers: Individual Developer, Team, and Enterprise. Educational institutions can apply for free licenses through our Coding Education Initiative. Visit the product page for detailed pricing and feature comparisons.
For those wanting to test-drive the experience, we're offering a free 30-day trial with full feature access. No credit card required—just download, install the appropriate IDE plugin, and start seeing your code in an entirely new way.
CodeWalker represents just the beginning of our mission to make code more accessible and understandable. Our roadmap includes AI-assisted optimization suggestions, expanded language support, and collaborative visualization features for distributed teams.
Join us on this journey to transform how developers, students, and organizations interact with code. The days of struggling to mentally trace program execution are over—with CodeWalker, what you code is what you see.
